Fabric Expansion Joints

Insulation Fabric Expansion Joints

Fabric expansion joints are used in the ducting of hot air gases. They are used to absorb movement as ducting pipe expands and contracts, with the added benefit of reducing vibration in the pipe work.

Materials used in the manufacture of expansion joints are tailored to meet a wide range of applications.

Fabric expansion joints can be made as a flat belt or suited to fit flanges. They are able to be manufactured for use in either circular or rectangular pipe work.
